Inna Voltchkova an expert knitter and graphic designer was born in Ukraine and is a graduate of the Kiev Institute of Fashion Design & Technology. She specializes in Russian Orenburg Lace knitting and is a pattern writer and knitter for Skaska Designs. Her Cashmere Wrist Warmers were recemtly featured on the cover of Piecework Magazine, July/August 2009 issue.

Intro to Shibori Felting - Adv. Beg.
Sister-Art Studio, Inc. invites you to join us for this great new class introducing Shibori knitting/felting technigue. Shibori is a term for traditional Japanese resistance dye techniques. Similar techniques can be used when felting wool. Objects are tied into the wool fabric as a "resist" before felting. Keeping parts of the knitted fabric from felting creates amazing three dimensional surfaces.
