Class Description: Have you ever wanted to learn to knit but not alone? Bring a friend, child, grandchild, niece or nephew, and learn the art of knitting together. Novice knitters will learn to knit a scarf with bamboo needles and your choice of yarn. In addition we guarantee you a fabulous bonding experience! Child is welcome alone.
New Knitters will learn: Casting on, basic garter (or knit) stitch, purl stitch, binding off, and finishing with fringe.
Adult & Teen Novice Knitting - Beginner

Class Description:
Have you ever wanted to learn to knit but no-one in your family is able to teach you? Novice knitters will learn to knit a scarf with size 11 bamboo needles or a hat with a circular knitting loom. Knitters will choose their own yarn.
Novice Weaving Class - Beginner
Sister-Arts Studio, Inc. invites you to join us for a new beginning weaving class. Students will create a wall hanging sampler or small runner based upon techniques learned in the class.

Class Size: 6 maximum, 2 minimum
Summer Special: $125.00 per person (includes all materials required, loom and 100% wool yarn)
Class Description: Learn the basics of weaving on a rigid heddle loom. Students will create a sampler based on a variety of weaving techniques taught in each class. Students will experiment with color and hand manipulating techniques to create interesting weaving effects. Create a sampler that finishes as a wall hanging or small table runner. No prior weaving experience is necessary!

Knit & Felt a Monster – Adv. Beginner
Sister-Art Studio, Inc. invites you to join us for this exciting new felting class! Knitters will learn to knit and machine felt an adorable stuffed monster designed by Christina Court. The monsters are knitted in the round with wool and eyelash yarns then felted and finished. Stop by the studio and see our adorable samples named Clementine and Sweetness!

Class Description: Christina has designed these adorable ball-shaped monsters with wool and eyelash yarn bodies and I-cord arms legs & tails. Knitters will learn to knit in the round, knit I-cord, machine felt, stuff and finish. This is a great project for teens and adults. Knitters should know how to cast-on, cast-off, knit and purl.

Tween Open Knit-Night!
Sister-Art Studio is now hosting summer open knit night for tweens ages 8 to 14! Sister-Arts open knit-night on Thursdays for adults has been a fabulous experience for all. In response to our following of young knitters and crocheters Sister-Arts is hosting an open knit night for tweens ages 8 - 14. The evening includes beginning knitting or crochet instruction, socialization and pizza! Bring your own project or get help starting a new one, all skill levels are welcome. Come with a friend or make a new friend at Sister-Arts Studio!
