The Spyrogyra Wrap by Kim Clair Smith is a series of undulating waves in a garter stitch lace pattern formed with a simple knit stitch and yarnovers. This sexy wrap is easy enough for adventurous knitters but still exciting enough for advanced knitters. This pattern was created and designed for "Cotton Ball" a Claudia Handpainted yarn in 100% cotton. Claudia Handpaints is renoun for their beatifully blended, unusual hand painted colorways. Spyrogyra in Cotton Ball is to "dye" for!

Daybreak Shawl Class by Stephen West, Westknits
The minute I saw Stephens patterns I knew he was a perfect fit for Sister-Arts!
Sister-Arts Studio is delighted to offer this exciting class by Stephen West. Stephen will feature the stunning Daybreak Shawl pattern. "Daybreak is a semicircular shawl, featuring clear graphic stripes that echo a rising sun." The generous wingspan allows the fabric to drape comfortably around your shoulders and neck. There is plenty of room to play with color in the three sections of this arched shawl. The shawl is written in three sizes from a small kerchief version to a larger shawl to wrap around your shoulders or neck. Stephen uses US size 4 needles with sock or fingering weight yarn in two colorways.

Time: 1-3 pm

Mother's Day Event - Flower Pin Workshop!
Create beautiful flower pins from scraps of felted / recycled sweaters. Denise Handwerker will share her expertise and materials to make these colorful flower-pin embellishments using basic hand sewing techniques. Pin these flowers to your favorite hat, bag or knitted items. Great Gift for Mothers Day! Attend with Mom and have a beautiful creative experience!

Tween Open Knit-Night Party!
Sister-Arts Studio is now hosting open knit night for tweens ages 8 to 14! Sister-Arts open knit-night on Thursdays for adults has been a fabulous experience for all. In response to our following of young knitters and crocheters Sister-Arts is hosting an open knit night for tweens ages 8 - 14. The evening includes beginning knitting or crochet instruction, socialization and pizza! Bring your own project or get help starting a new one, all skill levels are welcome. Come with a friend or make a new friend at Sister-Arts Studio!
