Week 2 - June 17-21 Crochet Level I / Rigid Heddle Weaving

$275.00

Crochet Level I (AM) / Rigid Heddle Weaving (PM)

Morning: Crochet Level I campers will learn the basics of crochet and create a small round rug, trivet or basket. Our young fiber artists will learn the slip knot, chain stitch, single crochet stitch, crochet in the round, pattern sequencing, increasing & finishing. This year, for our repeat campers, we are excited to explore Tunisian Crochet, a cross between knitting and crochet techniques!

Afternoon: Campers will discover the basics of weaving and create a beautiful six-color rainbow scarf. Weavers will team up together to warp (set up) their Harrisville rigid heddle loom, perfect the plain weave, and finish scarves with fringe. Artists will hand wash their scarves to soften the wool fibers.

$275 per week - Morning or Afternoon
For a full day of camp, register for both Morning and Afternoon sessions. Full Day campers should bring a lunch.

Please review our Fiber-Arts Summer Camp Terms & Conditions before registering.
