Week 4 - July 1-3 (3 Days) Yarn Spinning / Yarn Dyeing
Yarn Spinning (AM) / Yarn Dyeing (PM)
*Please note: this is a three-day camp week!
Morning: Campers will make their very own drop spindle from household materials and learn basic hand-spinning techniques. On day two, each will be guided in spinning yarn on a traditional spinning wheel. On day three we will also explore creating Peace Dolls with our handspun yarn.
Afternoon: Campers will explore the exciting adventure of dyeing wool yarn with color-safe dyes. We will dye yarn on the first two days and on the last day use our colorful yarn to knit or crochet swatches.
$175 per 3-day week - Morning or Afternoon
For a full day of camp, register for both Morning and Afternoon sessions. Full Day campers should bring a lunch.
