My Bittersweet Garden Collection Exclusive to Sister-Arts Studio

During the summer of Covid I took refuge in our back patio and, like each year before, my daughter Ona and I planted flowers and foliage in our pots and flower boxes. We experimented with flowering kale, caladium, coleus, celosia, and succulent plant varieties. The patio became my sanctuary and I spent early mornings watering and late evenings knitting, trying to make sense of our new Covid world. As summer progressed the flowers and foliage grew with an abundance I had never witnessed before. Day after day I cared for and admired them, snapped photos of their progress, and decided this special garden would become a new series of yarn colors I call "My Bittersweet Garden". Andrea with Apple Fiber Studio transformed this garden into a beautiful yarn collection.

In Spring 2022 we added three new colorways to the collection. All colorways are hand-dyed on McIntosh by Apple Fiber Studio, a luxurious sock/fingering weight; washable, warm and squishy.
